Tragic loss for Ukraine
Former Ukrainian Parliament Speaker Andriy Parubiy was shot and killed in a targeted attack in Lviv yesterday. The prominent politician, who played crucial roles in Ukraine’s Orange Revolution (2004) and EuroMaidan Revolution (2013), died at the scene despite emergency response efforts.

Parubiy served in parliament since 2007 and was instrumental in passing Ukraine’s 2019 language law. His death represents a significant loss for Ukrainian politics during these challenging times.
