Trump offers ‘Gold Card’ US immigration for US$ 5 millionUS President Donald Trump has announced a new and fast-track to immigrate to the USA. An all-new gold card at a cost of US$ 5 million is offered to foreigners who wish to migrate to the USA. President Trump called it a ‘premium version’ of the existing ‘Green Card.’ The new ‘Gold Card’ is a faster way not only to citizenship but also creation of job in America by wealthy people who purchase the card.

President Trump said the ‘Gold Card’ effectively replaces the old "EB-5" immigrant investor visa programme for foreigners promising to invest in US businesses. He felt that the US will be able to sell a gold card for about $5 million to wealthy people. President Trump said the details of the new Gold Card scheme will be out in two weeks. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick was in the Oval Office with President Trump when the executive orders were signed on 25 February 2025. President Trump seemed to indicate that his government could sell 10 million “Gold Cards” to reduce the deficit, calling it a fantastic scheme.
